I know!! It's flippin hysterical!!! So clever. I've watched it like 5 times and crack up each time...even though I know what's coming. BTW, Susan Boyle is on Larry King Live tomorrow night.

testing....1 2 3 testing.... just want to see if everything still works...had to swing around the pc desk to make room for the window guys to replace the window in the dormer. All seems to be working ok except for the mouse, it took 3 reboots to get it to drag. I think I'll need to reboot the modem AGAIN as it is loading super slow AGAIN. I am seeing the advantages to having a laptop instead of a pc. Next time. I don't really need a pc, I don't do fancy schmancy programs, and I can always get an external hard drive if there are storage issues. So, who has both and what do you think you would have if you could only have one?

How lame can one be? I made a new thread, wrote a paragraph, and went to preview. Then I forgot it was just preview and I left the page. Of course, everything was lost. OMG, you would think I had just started using a computer yesterday!!!

Thanks for the info Eye. So sorry to hear about another natural tragedy in the Phils. Are you safe? Yes. I was actually thankful. Although I was stranded for 4-5 hours under the rain while waiting for it to stop and witnessing the flood water rise, I was able to get a ride to a certain point and get on a stalled bus. We, the bus riders, waited another 5 hours for the bus to go. I was wet but comfortable, with 2 new friends to assist and keep me company, had enough money and food, had paperwork to finish, and had more than enough time to pray for everybody. I knew my family was safe, so I wasn't worried nor impatient to go home immediately. When I finally arrived home, I was thankful my parents prioritized me and my siblings security when we were growing up by giving us a safe home in a safe place. Thank you Lord and thank you mom and dad. And thank you MB for your concern.

I heard there are two more coming. My brother is a nurse, he claimed that one of his barangay is under water and they are missing three adults. He is so busy trying to keep everybody healthy under the circumstance. My family is safe, they thankfully are in higher grounds, but, my niece was stranded in UP and they all slept in school. One of my cousin had to get home using a canoe. Everything is expensive if there are things to buy. Thank you for the links, I cannot stop crying when I watched it. I did not show it to my mother as she will be so devastated. I hope we can organize something here to help even in a small way. Please pray for the welfare of the Filipino people and for the devastation to end.

I read that the US immediately sent some copters, money, rafts up to Manila from someplace that they had been doing some kind of exercises. For us, I would think that internet donations directly to the Phil Natl Red Cross would be most helpful.

I hope the next typhoons miss them and that they get the aid they need
