Here is a letter I sent online to sunny 95 here in Columbus
MiG Ayesa has just released his first CD and it is entitled MiG. I think it is quite good. There is a cover of Baby I Love Your Way that he did and is accompanied by Peter Frampton on guitar that is amazing. There are also three of his original songs "She Loved", "You and I" and "Could It BNe". I am enjoying all of them and wonder if you would consider putting any of these songs on your playlist. Many of the other songs on the Cd are also good and are sung in front of a 24 piece orchestra, and many of these were recorded at Abbey Lane Studio. A lot of talent went into this album including Rob Mathes and Mathew Wilder as part of the production team. I hope you will consider my request. I have gotten to know MiG and have gotten to see him live and he is a quality person in addtion to being a talented artist. I think MiG and Sunny 95 are a good fit for each other, Sincerely,

We need to find where to send info to Clear Channel and Cumulus. They control most of the playlists around the country.

That's a grand idea, Rose. Blitzing one certain station with the same song request. They just gotta take notice!!!! And since it is an L.A. station, maybe they would even have Mig as a guest!!!

Fax 601-978-3980 Perfect Mary Lee!! However, DO NOT ask Rock 93.9, it is definately NOT the right station for MiG. Though there are some times of the day that they play more pop/rock songs (Hinder, Daughtry, Nickleback), 93.9 is a Hard Rock station (Godsmack, Buckcherry, Metallica, NIN, Disturbed, etc.) We definately don't want Brad Stevens to get and earful of the CD, he'll make a mochary of it. Y101 is the perfect station for MiG's originals. Especially during the Morris & Bender Showgram. They both watch alot of Reality TV shows and should be familiar with Rockstar. Jack FM is a great idea. They play nonstop 80s, 90s and today's hits. Not sure I've heard many new artists. Z106 is old school rock-n-roll. (Peter Frampton, Motley Crue, 3 Dog Night, etc.) That would be a good station if MiG were to release one of the covers as a single, but I don't think his originals would fit the programming. Don't forget about 98.7!!! Another perfect atmosphere for MiG.

Here's the official word: MiG was sent by UMG to most of the Adult Contemporary radio stations around the country...so that's where to call for requesting. The two songs they would like us to request first are BILYW and She Loved. Of course, you can request anything you'd like to hear on the air...but these two are the ones they recommended we request. Thanks!!!
