Screen Friends
My husband has finally gone to work My children have finished their play they've gone to bed their stories read Now it's my time of day.
I've had one of those days you know what I mean so I sit back and relax and turn on my screen.
I'll talk to all my friends who know just what to say to make my stresses go and my troubles fade away.
My friends you're always there for me whenever I feel blue and though we've never met before I know our friendships true.
And although we haven't been friends for long in this short time it seems we shared so many things already our hopes, our fears, our dreams.
We come from different walks of life but we share a common bond and it's time to say that of all of you I've grown so very fond.
So thank you friends for being there whenever I've needed you I know you're always there for me and you know I'm there for you.

I found this today and thought WOW!!! I thought it needed to be shared!

God's Boxes I have in my hands two boxes, Which God gave me to hold. He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box, And all your joys in the gold." I heeded His words, and in the two boxes, Both my joys and sorrows I stored, But though the gold became heavier each day, The black was as light as before. With curiosity, I opened the black, I wanted to find out why, And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole, Which my sorrows had fallen out by. I showed the hole to God, and mused, "I wonder where my sorrows could be!" He smiled a gentle smile and said, "My child, they're all here with me.." I asked God, why He gave me the boxes, Why the gold and the black with the hole? "My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings, The black is for you to let go." -------------------------------------------------------- We should consider all of our friends a blessing. The more you give, the more you get- The more you laugh, the less you fret- The more you do unselfishly,The more you live abundantly... The more of everything you share,The more you'll always have to spare- The more you love, the more you'll find that life is good and friends are kind... For only what we give away enriches us from day to day.

Thanks to everyone for your well wishes for my sister and beautiful sentiments. I love all the poems and expressions of love and friendship. I pray every day for all of you who have loved ones who have fallen to illness. May every one recover completely. I will be staying with my sister for the next week helping care for her. Not sure how often it will be but I will try to visit the boards and often as possible. I can't say enough about #teammig#. #bearhug# to all of you. Cheryl Cheryl, We've missed your presence on the boards! I hope your sister is doing OK, continuing her recovery. Please let us hear from you when you get a chance. #bearhug# Joyce

Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been off the boards for so long. Unfortunately while I was staying with my sister after her surgery, she developed an infection in her liver and is now back in the hospital. I'm staying at her house for a few days so I'm closer to the hospital. Not sure when she'll be getting out. She's been doing better the last couple of days and I pray she continues on this path.
Joyce and Carol, thanks so much for your kindness and to everyone at #teammig# who has been praying for my sister.
I'll be on here for a little while tonight and then I'm not sure when I'll have the next opportunity. I sure have missed a lot here. I certainly have a lot of catching up to do. Lots of fun stuff going on. I hope to be back in the swing of things here real soon, I miss you all.
#bearhug# to all
Cheryl

[shadow=yellow,left,200]Tomorrow Is a New Day[/shadow] Sometimes we do not feel like we want to feel Sometimes we do not achieve what we want to achieve Sometimes things that happen do not make sense Sometimes life leads us in directions that are beyond our control It is at these times, most of all that we need someone who will quietly understand us and be there to support us I want you to know that I am here for you in every way and remember that though things may be difficult now tomorrow is a new day Poem by Susan Polis Schutz

God heard our prayers! Got the biopsy results yesterday, the discoloration on the lung is NOT cancer (it's probably a combo of all the paint colors he inhaled while painting autos and not wearing a mask). He does have renal cancer and is having surgery to remove that kidney. I'm so happy, and so thankful to all your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. #bearhug#
I love #teammig#
