God heard our prayers! Got the biopsy results yesterday, the discoloration on the lung is NOT cancer (it's probably a combo of all the paint colors he inhaled while painting autos and not wearing a mask). He does have renal cancer and is having surgery to remove that kidney. I'm so happy, and so thankful to all your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. #bearhug# I love #teammig# Rhonda, I am so thankful for your good news!! I will continue to keep you and your familly in my thoughts and prayers. #bearhug# xoxo Mary Lee

Rhonda,
This is wonderful news and I just know that once that kidney is removed he will be 100% cancer free and healthy.

Great news Rhonda, I am sure you are all so relieved. I am happy to say that my niece has managed to pull through a massive heart attack (totally lost respiration and pulse!) and seems to have no effects from the loss of oxygen, (it happened after the funeral for her grand daughter who had choked to death at the babysitters). Also, one of the patients we had been taking our therapy dog to visit has passed away. At least we gave her a bit of comfort for a short while. Now to will good health positive vibes to Cheryl's sister and Rhonda's father-in-law and anyone else who can use it!

Rhonda, so glad to hear the news about your father-in-law. Keeping him in my prayers for his surgery and recovery-let us know how things go.
And oh my gosh, Toni. I'm so sorry to learn of all of the events you've been dealing with. I'm sure that you and your therapy dog have been bringing comfort to many people, more than you know. My husband and I were reading about a therapy dog at our local hospital this weekend, and we both commented on how nice we thought that would be, if God forbid we'd ever need it.

Rhonda, I am so pleased to hear about your father-in-law's news about the cancer being contained in his kidney. A friend of mine had a kidney out last year-she went to er to because she had flu and they found the tumopr accidentally and removed the kidney two days later. 10 days later she was back in church and continues to do well. I hope your dadinlaw will do just as well!! Toni, I ma so sorry to hear about your niece and her grandbaby. There isn't too much in life more painful to deal with than the loss of a child. It is hard to know how to comfort someone when that happens. It is lucky your niece has some wonderful family like you to help her, even though I am sure your heart is breaking about this too. #bearhug# and prayers for all of you! mb

Thanks, all. My niece doesn't actually remember the death and funeral of Lexi even though she knows it happened. I am thankful for that because it makes it easier for her. They all live in Baltimore, and I must say that the citizens there, including Baltimore's finest, have all been wonderful to them. The city has kind of a bad rap as a rough town, but the good definately trumps the bad in this case.

I'm finally grabbing a few minutes to visit my favorite friends. Again, I can't believe I've been off the boards for another week and a half.
Unfortunately my sister is still in the hospital. The doctors are having a hard time getting rid of the infection in her liver. She just had another scan and hopefully they will come up with a better course of treatment. Your continued positive words and prayers are so very much appreciated. I can't tell you what it means to me to come on here and see all of the great posts you all put on here.
Rhonda that is great news about your father-in-law. I will be praying for a full recovery for him.
Toni sorry to hear about all of your troubles, but I'm glad your niece has pulled through. You've certainly been through a lot.
I will continue to pray for my special #teammig# friends and families and hope to be back on the boards full time with you all very soon.
#bearhug# Cheryl

Cheryl, I'm so sorry that your sister is still in the hospital, but will continue to keep you both (and the doctors) in my prayers. I'm glad you got to stop by for a while to say hi!
Toni, what a devastating tragedy! Losing a child has to be a nightmare and then your niece's heart attack.....I can't imagine what your family has been through. You and your family are in my prayers, also.

Cheryl, So glad to see you could stop by for a bit! When one of us is "missing in action" for a few days...let alone for a few weeks....their absence is really felt!!! I really look forward to posts from each and every one of you, and I really feel a void when someone is gone for a bit! I'm so sorry to hear your sister is still not home, but hopefully a new course of treatment will bring the desired results!!! HANG IN THERE Cheryl....and you know we're not going anywhere. We'll be here when you return...and just think of all the new nip that will be waiting for you! Take care and know that lots of #bearhug# are coming your way!!!
