We leave out of Detroit. As much as I'd rather leave out of Toledo Express (it's a great little airport), it takes more money and a lot more time to get anywhere! Looks meh for Thursday, but can't really tell what the weather will do for flying...conditions up in the air are different than on the ground! I sure hope it's ok in NYC! I was hoping to show off Chinatown and Little Italy to Darrell.

Christina - way to represent girlie! How many shows have you been to in the past 3-4 weeks!!

Christina was able to attend 2 of the 3 shows MiG did at 8 Mile Creek so far with Thursday being her 3rd of 4 plus the Australian Bush Fire Benefit. So, yeah, I think she's honorary family, LOL. She said she had a blast on Thursday, just like the previous week but got to stay an hour longer this time because she was staying with a friend who lives a few blocks away from 8 Mile Creek. She was finally able to get on line long enough to send me some pictures and videos earlier this evening. I'm in the process of working on them now but probably won't get them posted until sometime tomorrow morning before I head out for Columbus. I'm nodding off as I try to type this so I'm not going to try to upload anything tonight. The pictures are GREAT! The vids are a little dark but pretty decent. I'll see what I can do with them later. Oh, and they guy MiG did the second fundraiser with this past Sunday is actually a bartender at The Creek Bar...how cool is that?

Here's a couple pictures Christina took at 8 Mile Creek last Thursday: and This is the "jar" MiG brought out when he did the line in Piano Man that says "The sit at the bar and put bread in my jar." The vids that Christina sent me included Wrapped Around Your Finger and I Need You Here but sent me over the edge with MiG's reditions of You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling, his duet of Little Red Corvette w/Luke and Who Wants To Live Forever. I'll try to load those up later this afternoon (from Columbus) along with two more songs from the Feb 19th show: Billly Joel's And So It Goes and Bachelor Girl's Buses and Trains.

Perhaps tomorrow evening after we bget to NJ or Thursday morning. Suffice it to say we had a GREAT dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and the Key Lime Cheesecake I had was EXCELLENT!!!!!!. It CERTAINLY was, Nancy. I had a hard time deciding between the Key Lime Pie cheesecake and the Tiramisu and the Tiramisu cheesecake but KLP won out in the end. I'm going to upload two vids from The Creek on 02-19-09 and a couple interesting ones from 02-26-09.

...And now we know why we didn't get any updates. They were having way too much fun...until the wee hours!!
MiG played from about 8pm to 3:30am to a packed house. Luke, the bartender who plays the guitar sat in on some songs as did a few other musicians. I'm sure the girls will fill us in on that when they all get back.
MiG interacted with the audience alot and took alot of requests including Bo Rhap, Long Train Runnin, Seasons of Love from Rent, and Signed Sealed Delivered.
Toni said it was an amazing performance.
Simone was there for a while so they got to visit with her for a bit.
There are tons of vids and pics to come!!
